IMATEX - BC is a special organic polymer- bonding admixture for mortar and concrete based on Portland cement.
IMATEX - BC is taken especially for surface of concrete, even in wet surface.

Product Detail

Standard	Complies with IMAG's basic standard TC 13: 2001.
Advantage	Gives excellent adhesion between new mortar or concrete layer and the old ones in improving, upgrading and repairing construction. Greatly increased watertightness. Improves abrasion, chemical resistance.
Field of application	Applying for complicated and uninterrupted concrete structures. Upgrading, repairing civil, industrial, cultural constructions and irrigation constructions. Projects where waterproofing and high adhesion is required.

Application	Clean the surface out of grease, oil and dust. Make the cleaned surface wet by water. As an adhesion agent between layers of mortar or concrete: Brush a slurry (containing 25% of IMATEX - BC by weight of cement) on the surface. Apply a mortar or concrete layer containing a well-proportioned ratio of IMATEX - BC on the old ones while the brushed slurry layer is still wet. Make moisture curing for the new ones.

Note:	As a waterproofing admixture for surface of mortar or old concrete: Brush a slurry on the cured surface of mortar or concrete. Apply a mortar or concrete layer containing IMATEX - BC on the old ones while the brushed slurry layer is still wet. Follow the conventional moisture curing procedure. It should be mixed by a good mechanic mixer for achieving an optimum homogenous mixture. Do not mix by hands.
Typical dosage	IMATEX - BC is mixed with water and follows the conventional manners. IMATEX - BC is recommended to use 10 - 25 ltr per 100 kg of cement.

Storage Shelf-life	Keep in cool, dry places. 12 months from the production date.
