Application
  • Clean the surface out of grease, oil and dust.
  • Make the cleaned surface wet by water.
As an adhesion agent between layers of mortar or concrete:
  • Brush a slurry (containing 25% of IMATEX - C by weight of cement) on the surface.
 
  •  
Apply a mortar or concrete layer containing a well-proportioned ratio of IMATEX - C on the old ones while the brushed slurry layer is still wet.
  • Follow the conventional moisture curing procedure.
As a waterproofing admixture for surface of mortar or old concrete:
  • Brush a slurry on the cured surface of mortar or concrete.
  • Apply a mortar or concrete layer containing IMATEX - C on the old ones while the brushed slurry layer is still wet.
  • Follow the conventional moisture curing procedure.
 
Typical dosage
Note
Mix IMATEX - C with water, then mix thoroughly with slurry, mortar or concrete by conventional manners.
IMATEX - C is recommended to use 10 - 25 ltr per 100 kg of cement.
- It should be mixed by a good mechanic mixer for achieving an optimum homogenous mixture. Do not mix by hands.
